Shaquela Ford Co-Founder/CEO Shaquela Ford attended Texas A&M-University –Commerce and received her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, concentration EC-4 Generalist Certification. She also received her Masters of Education in Reading from Texas& M- University Commerce, concentration 4-8 Generalist, Reading Specialist, and Master Reading Teacher Certification. She is certified by the State Board of Education to teach reading. She graduated Valedictorian of her high school class from L.G. Pinkston High School in Dallas, TX. She received the William Leonidas Mayo Student Leader Senior Award from Texas A&M-Commerce in 2008 which is the highest award for an individual in a student organization. She conducted a professional development session on Balanced Literacy in 2011 for her colleagues at Summit International Preparatory. Miss Ford also presented a breakout session at the 2011 Bill Martin Jr. Symposium in Commerce, TX. She is currently the 5th Grade ELA Course Leader for Uplift Education. Shaquela is a dedicated individual who is passionate about working with children. She believes that in order for students to receive a good quality education there has to be an individual who is aware of their individual need.
Shaquala Ford Co-Founder/COO Shaquala Ford attended Texas A&M-University –Commerce and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Management. She also received her MBA from Texas& M- University Commerce. Shaquala Ford is currently working on obtaining her teaching certification through Texas A& M Commerce Alternative Certification Program. She graduated Salutatorian of her high school class from L.G. Pinkston High School Class of 2004 in Dallas, TX. With her business background Jumelle Enterprise LLC in the next few years will offer childcare services.
